Who I am...

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re passionate about education in the same way that I am.

I have been a teacher since 2013 and during that time, I have had the absolute privilege of working with incredible teachers, parents and students. I’ve worked in several different schools, led multiple subjects (including English) and developed a deep-rooted passion for making education enjoyable along the way. If you feel the same, let’s work together!

My son has been working with Sarah for a number of months now and the difference has been incredible. His confidence and abilities in maths and English has improved vastly. Sarah has such a calm and patient way of teaching that gives my son the time to really understand a topic. Sarah really cares about her students which comes through in her lessons and the notes and homework that is given out. I can’t recommend her enough!

If you're looking for a tutor who is not only intelligent and skilled, but also deeply compassionate, genuinely interested in your child’s wellbeing, and wholeheartedly invested in their success, then Sarah is exactly who you need. Sarah has a way of making both parents and children feel truly seen and understood. From their very first lesson, my daughter felt less anxious about the SATs. She came away saying she understood parts of maths that she’d never been able to grasp before — all because of the way Sarah explained things. Sarah has this incredible ability to break down complex concepts into manageable steps. My daughter genuinely looked forward to her lessons. That alone speaks volumes. She trusted Sarah, she felt safe to make mistakes, and she knew that even if she got something wrong, Sarah would guide her through it patiently and without judgment. The way Sarah celebrated her wins — even the small ones — made my daughter feel proud of herself. Sarah helped my daughter overcome the anxiety that had been holding her back, particularly in maths. Once that fear was gone, her confidence soared. She went into her SATs feeling calm and capable — and not only did she pass comfortably, she came incredibly close to full marks in English. I cannot recommend Sarah enough.

Sarah is an exceptional tutor, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services. You will receive a five-star experience, complete with detailed feedback after each lesson that highlights your child’s strengths and areas for improvement. Additionally, homework is provided to reinforce learning between lessons. Sarah develops a roadmap that outlines your child's current position and the goals she aims to achieve. She then formulates a customised plan tailored specifically to your child. My son greatly enjoyed his lessons with Sarah, which included bespoke materials throughout. If you are seeking a high-caliber tutor, look no further; you will receive an impeccable service from Sarah. She dedicates immense effort to all her students, and this commitment is evident. Thank you for being an integral part of J’s 11+ journey.

She worked with our son for 7+ preparation in particular reading & creative writing and got offers from all competitive 3 schools that he applied fortunately. We especially like her 1) fast response, 2) good understanding on where the child is, and 3) focused/efficient approach. She is lovely and excellent tutor we recommend!!

I signed up with Primary Path Education to help my son prepare for his SAT's. He's very clever but doesn't get the positive feedback and encouragement from his school teacher, so he has lost interest. Sarah and Roger are fabulous teachers! They make the lessons fun and engaging and always give the positive feedback that my son needs to learn. He actually looks forward to the lessons in the evenings and afterwards you can see how excited he is from them! I would recommend them to any parent with a child in year 5 or 6. Thank you guys ❤️

I have been going to Sarah for English lessons for several months. I think she is a fantastic teacher. She is not just an English speaker, she can also teach, and that is very important. The lessons are carefully prepared and tailored to our level of English and our needs. You can always ask about anything and get a satisfactory answer. If you need to break through in speaking English, polish your grammar skills or in terms of understanding the interlocutor, and on top of that you want a pleasant atmosphere, this is the best place. Sarah is also really supportive and caring person. I heartily recommend lessons with her.

Sarah is a wonderful and engaging teacher. She has a good sense of how much children can bear to listen and alternates with conversations and questions about what they have read. The children get to think for themselves and they learn new words throughout the lesson. My daughter loves being in Sarahs class and feel uplifted and happy after having a lesson.

My 6-year-old LOVED the reading sessions! I was unsure if she would be able to participate or even sit still for the whole 50 min. She was hooked within minutes and answered questions and actively listened the whole time. To be honest I don't think I have ever seen her be that focused. When the session was over she was persistent to continue with the sessions.

My daughter started with this programme just a couple of weeks ago. She learns Maths and English and really enjoys her lessons and looks forward to them. Initially we were only looking for 1-2-1 tutoring but so pleased we gave these group sessions a go. My daughter is doing so well and I know these lessons will truly help enhance her knowledge and skills further. The way the lessons are taught are at a good steady pace, interactive and fun. I highly recommend Primary Path.

My son has been taking session with primary path for just over a week now and the difference it has already made is incredible. My son is dyslexic, so when it came to English he would hide away. Two English sessions in he is asking when his next session is, it has sparked a love of learning aswell as showing me exactly what he is capable of. He loves both the maths and English sessions. Couldn’t thank them enough for the incredible work they do, the sessions are also at suitable times.

My Books

The Calm and Confident Method

Calm: Lower The Pressure First

No child can learn properly when they’re feeling overwhelmed or under pressure. The first step is always to help them feel calm and settled. When children feel safe and supported, they’re far more open to learning.

Clear: Break It Down Into Clear Steps

Once a child feels calm, everything starts to click into place. Teaching is carefully explained and modelled step by step, so they truly understand what they’re doing — not just copy a method. There are no rushed explanations or gaps in understanding.

Confident: Build Confidence Through Small Wins

As that understanding builds, so does their confidence. Children begin to trust themselves, speak up more, and tackle challenges without fear. Learning starts to feel positive again — and that’s when real progress happens.
